You're not looking for a traditional sales role focused on cold calling, but rather one where you can talk to technical stakeholders about concrete requirements and develop tailored solutions? Our customers are already aware of the value our product offers – as a Technical Project Consultant for New Customers, your task is to align it precisely with their specific needs. Please note this job requires you to be on site and is not a remote job!

UniverCell produces electrodes and cells based on lithium-ion technology for batteries in Germany. With everything we do, we make sustainable energy usable and develop highest-quality energy storage systems with innovative technology and maximum performance. Our products are used in aerospace, medical products and other areas where the highest quality and performance are required.

Your responsibilities

  • First point of contact for potential customers, e.g. at trade fairs or through inbound inquiries
  • Conduct structured discussions with project managers, technical decision-makers, and purchasers to gather technical requirements and project goals – in close coordination with internal project management
  • Translate customer needs into product-based solutions and coordinate technical clarifications with the internal development team
  • Manage offer and contract negotiations through to successful deal closure
  • Maintain and update relevant customer data in CRM and ERP systems

Your skills

  • A degree in chemistry, business chemistry, engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp complex interrelationships
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a professional demeanor
  • A high degree of independence, fluent in both German and English
  • Must-have: Strong interest in project management and technical sales – recent graduates are very welcome
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in the battery industry, technical project sales, or as a sales engineer
