In today's world, energy is a very valuable resource that must be used responsibly and carefully. Therefore, the UniverCell website is available in an energy-saving version.
The brighter an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) panel shines, the more energy must flow through the individual subpixels. This also applies the other way around: Dark colors require significantly less energy in practice and depending on the display model.
Events & Fairs
May 18, 2026
At the beginning of May, our CEO Dr. Stefan Permien attended HTGF Family Day 2026, one of Europe’s leading events for founders, investors, and deep-tech companies. With more than 1,000 participants, the event provides a unique platform for targeted networking, one-to-one meetings, and short pitch formats designed to foster new partnerships and investment opportunities.
For UniverCell, the focus was on engaging with existing and potential investors. Together with representatives from our investor DTCF, Dr. Stefan Permien used the opportunity to present UniverCell’s journey, our technology platform, and the next steps toward scaling industrial battery cell manufacturing. Discussions centered on the challenges and opportunities of building a competitive European battery industry, the importance of technological differentiation, and the role of process and manufacturing excellence in achieving sustainable growth.
A particular highlight was the opportunity to meet Dr. Thomas Steffen, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and briefly introduce UniverCell and our vision for the future of the European battery industry. The exchange once again underlined the growing importance of innovative battery technologies for Europe’s industrial competitiveness and technological sovereignty.
HTGF Family Day once again demonstrated that scaling deep-tech companies requires much more than capital alone. Long-term partnerships, a shared understanding of industrial challenges, and strong collaboration between investors, industry, and policymakers are essential for sustainable success. We would like to thank all participants for the valuable discussions, as well as Lena Stache and Elisabeth Schrey from the DTCF team for the invitation and their support throughout the event.
