In this digital whistleblowing channel, employees and external persons can report their concerns. Concerns include violations of legal and internal regulations, breaches of ethical standards or actions contrary to UniverCell's core values.
Matters relating to an employee's personal working conditions should be directed to supervisors or Human Resources. Customer complaints should also be directed to the appropriate UniverCell contact person.

All reports will be treated in strict confidence. Information on data protection can be found on the "Data protection" tab at the bottom of our homepage.We recommend that you identify yourself when reporting, as case processing is generally more efficient if the identity of the whistleblower is known to the person handling the case. You still have the option of submitting reports anonymously.

Not every report of a breach of legal provisions is covered by the HinSchG. The scope of protection regulated under § 2 HinSchG is very broad. Whistleblowers enjoy the protection of the HinSchG if they report violations of the following regulations, among others:Violations of criminal provisions Violations that are punishable by a fine if the violated provision serves to protect life, limb or health or to protect the rights of employees or their representative bodies (e.g. occupational health and safety, minimum wage law, etc.)Violations of federal or state legislation.

In the digital whistleblowing channel, you can choose whether you want to make an open or anonymous report. In either case, your report will be forwarded to the e-mail address provided, which supports UniverCell in processing and evaluating whistleblowing reports. Open reports are recommended as this facilitates a good dialog between you and the processing team. If you make an open report, UniverCell staff will treat your identity as confidential information and ensure your anonymity from others. If you make an anonymous report, your identity will be kept confidential during all steps of the case management process.

This Whistleblowing Policy applies to employees, shareholders and other third parties involved with UniverCell. Any person who has a legitimate concern is encouraged to report it as described in this procedure, even if the concern turns out to be false.Concerns that are reported may include concerns regarding the UniverCell Code of Conduct, violations of local law, EU law, other written ethical policies at UniverCell or generally accepted ethical standards, or other forms of misconduct.

Unlawful discrimination, bullying, physical violence or harassment • Violation of working conditions • Violations of health, safety or environmental regulation • suspected corruption and financial fraud, e.g. embezzlement, bribery, theft, fraud, breach of accounting obligations, falsification of documents • Violation of the regulations on the protection of personal data • Abuse of power or position • These points are only examples. As soon as there is any doubt as to whether or not an observation should be reported, we will ask you to submit a report. All requests will be processed and answered.

A report can be made verbally or in writing. If the whistleblower wishes, the report can also be made in person. Try to pay attention to the following when making a report: 1. When did it happen and who is involved? 2. Where and when did it happen? 3. Is it a one-off incident or is it an ongoing situation? 4. Can the matter be documented?

The processing of a whistleblowing report is subject to confidentiality and the information provided in a report may not be disclosed without authorization.

Retaliation against an employee and other UniverCell employees is prohibited by law. UniverCell will not impose any penalty on an individual who makes a whistleblowing report or participates in good faith in an investigation.
