HSE Specialist – Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Protection (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of measures related to occupational health and safety, fire protection, and environmental protection
  • Documenting and monitoring compliance with legal requirements and internal standards
  • Assisting in the introduction of new work procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Analysing accidents and near misses, and supporting the preparation of risk assessments
  • Organizing and conducting safety training, briefings, and workplace inspections
  • Maintaining HSE documentation, registers, and training materials
  • Collaborating closely with supervisors, safety specialists, occupational physicians, authorities, and both internal and external partners
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of our HSE management system

Your profile

  • Completed training as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with § 7 ASiG (e.g. with a technical or skilled trade background)
  • Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, environmental protection, health or fire safety – ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g. ArbSchG, DGUV regulations, BImSchG, TRGS, etc.)
  • Experience in preparing risk assessments, training materials and conducting safety briefings
  • Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a structured way of working
  • Proficient in MS Office; ideally with experience using digital HSE management systems
  • A team player with the willingness to collaborate across departments

Desirable qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in environmental management, fire protection, or ergonomics
  • Initial experience working with authorities and external service providers
