Process Engineer - Electrode Finishing (f/m/d)

UniverCell produces electrodes and cells based on lithium-ion technology for batteries in Germany. • Develop, evaluate, and continuously optimize processes in the field of electrode finishing
• Independently analyze and improve ongoing production processes, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability
• Support the implementation of new manufacturing technologies – ideally in a roll-to-roll context
• Contribute to root cause analysis of process deviations and implement sustainable solutions
• Plan and execute material tests and process validations, including related documentation
• Review and maintain technical documents such as work instructions, risk assessments, and operating procedures
• Collaborate with maintenance and HSE teams to ensure equipment availability and workplace safety

• Degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in process development in an industrial production environment
• Ideally, knowledge of roll-to-roll processing
• Experience with laser processes (e.g. laser welding) is a plus
• Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong technical affinity
