Process Engineer (m/f/d) – Wet Coating

UniverCell produces electrodes and cells based on lithium-ion technology for batteries in Germany. • Provide technical support for and further develop an industrial wet coating process for electrode foils
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret process and production data to ensure stable manufacturing operations, while developing and enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze process deviations and derive and implement appropriate corrective actions to improve process stability
• Optimize process parameters in close collaboration with Production, Quality, and Engineering
• Support process trials, production start-ups, and the introduction of new materials or product variants
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality across the entire process chain, including upstream and downstream process steps

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a Natural Science discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field).
• Initial professional experience in an industrial manufacturing or process environment, ideally within the chemical or process industry.
• Interest in coating, mixing, or continuous manufacturing processes.
• Basic understanding of data-driven process analysis and the use of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Structured, analytical, and hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
