Strategic & Operational Procurement - Direct Materials (m/f/d)

UniverCell develops and produces electrodes and battery cells on lithium-ion technology in Germany and operates one of the largest electrode and cell production facilities in Europe fpr innovative premium applications. With everything we do, we make sustainable energy usable and develop highest-quality energy storage systems with innovative technology and maximum performance. Our products are used in aerospace, medical products and other areas where the highest quality and performance are required.

• Negotiation of supply contracts, NDAs, IP agreements, and other contractual documents
• Close management of key suppliers as well as building and further developing supplier evaluation
• Point of contact for internal and external audits
• Ordering of direct materials and support of the ordering processes
• Handling of complaint/claims management
• Further development and maintenance of procurement processes and documentation
• Key user for the ERP system
• Market monitoring for direct materials
• Participation in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Regular procurement reporting
• Vacation coverage in indirect procurement

• Commercial apprenticeship / degree with experience in procurement
• Experience in contract negotiation and closing deals, particularly framework agreements
• Experience in procurement of chemical products is a plus
• Confident use of Microsoft Office products
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central (Dynamics)
• Fluent in business negotiations in both English and German
• Asian language skills are a plus but not required
